The AICPA PFP Section is excited to offer a new PFP Sponsorship program. Funding for this 2009 program was provided by the Association of CPA Financial Planners, an organization committed to promoting the PFS credential for CPA financial planners. These awards are intended to encourage CPAs who have an interest in personal financial planning to complete the examination requirement and ultimately obtain the PFS credential.
Sponsorships will be awarded in $2,000 amounts and will reimburse PFS exam candidates for expenses (registrations fees and travel costs) for the 2009 PFS exam.
Applicants will be evaluated based on academic and professional achievement, commitment to the CPA financial planning profession and the PFS credential, and, if noted, financial need.

Note: If you are a PFS and just taking the case study portion of the program for education credit, the PFS Sponsorship is not available to you. Its purpose is to encourage the CPAs to become PFS credential holders.
